I would HIGHLY  recommend Dr. Alpern in the treatment of leg vein problems.

He is VERY knowledgeable in this field and is sincerely interested in providing the best treatment for his patients with the least amount of discomfort.

He thoroughly checks you with ultrasound and uses the diagrams to assist him in locating what needs to be done for the problem.

During the treatments I had VERY LITTLE  (IF ANY ) discomfort and NO pain at all .

I am a 69 year old diabetic male. I also have gout. For well over 9 years I suffered with my hips, legs and ankles hurting. My ankles and feet were swollen and discolored. It was thought to be from diabetes. I could not walk more than half a block, nor could I bend over. Over a year ago I developed a bad rash on my left ankle. One doctor suspected a staph infection. I was treated with strong antibiotics and special creams but it didn’t help. Another doctor suspected it could be vascular. He referred me to Arizona Vein and Vascular. I had to wear special stockings for a few days. What an instant relief, my pain was 80% gone. The next day he treated my left leg, the one with the rash, and again there was instant relief. My rash is cleared up now. I have been back for other treatments and each time I lose more pain.
